NAYARA is a Brazilian-born DJ based in Toronto, forged in Tulum — trained and first put on stage by the Tulum DJ Academy, playing beach clubs, rooftops and cenote parties before bringing that energy north. Her sound lives across house, tech house, Afro house and melodic techno, laced with Brazilian percussion and built for one purpose: keeping a dancefloor moving from golden hour to last call.
She plays two lives that are really one mood. Daylight: open-air sunset sessions, boat parties and beach raves — including a set on the water for the Canadian International Air Show. After dark: clubs, warehouses and after-hours rooms, including closing sets that run to sunrise. Recent chapters include closing for Matthias Meyer at STORY Toronto, closing for Dubdogz at Acqua Supper Club, opening and closing Selects 003 at Escobar, Morning Movement for The Coffee Party, peak-time and closing sets at The Comfort Zone, 4 AM open-airs at Cherry Beach, and rooftops from Valerie and Lavelle to Harriet’s. Beyond Canada: cenote parties at Pargo Cenote, sunset sets at UMi Beach Club and the Straw Hat rooftop in Tulum, plus her hometown-country debut on Ipanema Beach in Rio de Janeiro.
A regular face across Toronto’s house and techno community — and winner of The Comfort Zone’s #czdjcontest014 — NAYARA shows up dressed for the night, plays for the sunrise, and leaves every room lighter than she found it.
Bright. Excited. Happy. Never moody for the sake of moody — every set is a journey from the first golden hour to the last strobe.
Open-air, beach, boat parties, rooftops at golden hour. Warm, organic grooves with tribal and Brazilian percussion for crowds that start dancing in daylight and don't stop.
Club and warehouse, rooftop after dark, after-hours rooms. Driving, hypnotic, late-night intensity — locked into one collective heartbeat until sunrise.
2025 credits also include Nocturnal Events, Track Factory, We Got Wednesdays, Toronto Takeover and more across Toronto. Event flyers, stories and full archive live on @nayara.beats:
